I’m having issues with my Xbox, long story short it connects to the internet but I get an error message saying one of two things: cannot connect with a static IP address or DNS isn’t resolving Xbox server names. I can’t run an Ethernet cable to my room. I’ve tried everything from off and on again to restoring the Xbox to default and I still get the same thing. Is it worth trying to replace the WI-FI card???

For those here wondering how to tell if your wifi card is faulty: You’ll experience frequent controller disconnects that will progressively get worse and frequent wifi disconnects where you have to completely unplug your Xbox and start it back up just to get back on and have it disconnect a few mins later. Swapping the card solved those issues for me. I grabbed a card off Amazon for $10 - it was the exact same card as the one Microsoft puts in the Xbox One S. The card I bought from Amazon seemed used and dirty - I’m assuming the pull them off old consoles to resell, but they work.

Hey I have the same exact problem. Once I replaced the panel and put it back to the point where I soldered the speaker back. Now I cant connect to any devices the power comes on fine but I can no longer detect the headset any ideas???

One of my earbuds is not in its case and has disconnected but still shows to have battery. I am trying to ping it but it only rings on the one that isn't lost and is still connected. Is there a way to reconnect the other earbud without putting it back in the case?

So I don't know if I'll get an answer buty Xbox was overheating often hasn't been covered has been getting really hot so I have an external fan on it often But the real problem is When I opened it up and checked on the fan. one of the fins was Hitting the sides and getting stuck not even sure how that Happened my Xbox has been through quite alot so I'm not complaining just curious I'm gonna need to replace it tho for sure

ok thanks for the instructions for the fitbit charge 5 battery swap - battery was changed and when connected to the charger it was at about 15% after 15min (started at 1%) - that seemed all good but when i disconnect from the charger it does not turn on. so it seems the battery is charging (the old one always stayed at 1%) - will see tomorrow when battery should be at 100%. i should mention i have no reconnected the vibrator and shield and not glued back the screen because i wanted to first see if things worked. next morning at 1% - hm, did i misread before not sure anymore - maybe not the battery
